PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the Learned Additional District Judge, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District to complete the trial and dispose of the case in S.C. No.36 of 2022 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER:- This Criminal original Petition having come up on for orders on this day under the caption "Extension of time for complying with the directions of this Court" and upon perusing earlier order of this Court dated 17.10.2023 and the letter submitted by the Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court, Nagercoil in D.NO.1403/2024 dated 14.02.2024, this Court made the following order:- Today, this case is listed under the caption for "Extension of Time for complying with the direction of this Court."

2. This Court while dismissing the Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18664 of 2023, dated 1/3

17.10.2023 directed the trial Court to conclude the Sessions Case in S.C.No.36 of 2022 within a period of five months.

3. The learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court, Nagercoil, has submitted a report before this Court, on 14.02.2024, stating that the order of this Court, dated 17.10.2023, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18664 of 2023, was challenged before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Special Leave Petition (Criminal) Diarty No.3603 of 2024, and the Hon'ble Supreme Court has also granted an order of interim stay, vide order dated 06.02.2024. The learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court, Nagercoil, has also produced the copy of the interim order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Special Leave Petition (Criminal) Diarty No.3603 of 2024, dated 06.02.2024 and also sought for extension of time as imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.18664 of 2023, dated 17.10.2023.

4. Considering the interim order granted by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, time is extended as depending upon the orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, in Special Leave Petition (Criminal) Diarty No.3603 of 2024.
