ORDER

The Writ Petition is directed against the order dated 22.10.2024 passed by the third respondent and for direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct Annathanam festival on 29.10.2024 in connection with 117th Thevar Guru Poojai at Survey No.167/2A3 of Ilamanur Village, Ilayangudi Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that citing communal issues and law and order problem the requisition given by the writ petitioner came to be rejected on 22.10.2024. He would further submit that if the writ petitioner gives fresh representation fixing 2/6

Annathanam subsequent to the Thevar Jeyanthi, the same will be considered.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that they will fix the date subsequent to the Thevar Jeyanthi.

5. Considering the submissions made on either side, the writ petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the third respondent incorporating the new date and timings and on receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to consider the writ petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs. 28.10.2024 NCC :Yes/No Index :Yes/No Internet : Yes/ No csm 3/6
