ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) Prayer in the Writ Petition is for renovation of the Jetty, situate at Soliyakudi (M.V.Pattinam) of Ramanathapuram District.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the said Jetty is in a very dangerous condition and needs urgent renovation. Photographs demonstrating the condition of the Jetty have also been placed before us.
3. Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that a proposal for construction of a new Jettty at a cost of Rs.10 Crores is pending with the Government and the work is to be taken up in the year 2024-2025.

4. In the light of the above, we see no reason to issue Mandamus as prayed for by the petitioner. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to seek re-opening of the Writ Petition, if nothing is done within a period of one year from today. No costs.
