O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a mandamus to consider the request of the petitioner to appoint him as the Secretary of the Seethalakshmi Aachi Women's College by considering the Form - 6 submitted by him and the consequential recommendation made by the second respondent dated 13.07.2023.

A perusal of the affidavit would clearly indicate that there is a inter se dispute between the writ petitioner and one Mr.Annamalai with regard to the post of Secretaryship of Seethalakshmi Aachi Women's College. In an Executive Committee Meeting that was conducted on 25.05.2023, the petitioner claims to have dismissed the said Annamalai from the post of Secretaryship. However, the said Annamalai, claims that he had removed the petitioner from the Executive Committee by a resolution in the meeting held on 21.06.2023.

3. The petitioner has submitted a Form-6 to the second respondent herein to recognize him as the Secretary of the said College. The second respondent is said to have forwarded the same to the first respondent. As on today, the Form-6 submitted by the petitioner is pending before the first respondent.

Considering the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the said Form-6 submitted by the writ petitioner on merits and in accordance with law after giving due opportunity to the writ petitioner as well as his rival claimant, namely, Mr.Annamalai. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of to the extent as stated above. There shall be no order as to costs. 18.10.2023 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No ebsi 3/5
