O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondent to file the final report in Crime No.446 of 2023.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that one Hassim Fatehally purchased a land to an extent of 70 cents vide Document No.6832 of 1982 on the file of the Joint IV Sub-Registrar, Madurai and had executed a general power of attorney deed in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner had obtained an order from this Court and put a fencing over the property. Thereafter, whenever the petitioner went to visit the property, the accused persons threatened the petitioner. They have also damaged the fencing put up by him and tried to encroach the property. Hence the petitioner had given a complaint. On a direction from the learned Judicial Magistrate, a case was registered on 23.06.2023 in Crime No.446 of 2023. Since no progress in the case, this petition has been filed.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that so for three witnesses have been examined and seeks a period of three months to complete the investigation.

5. The respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and file a final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
