ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent police to conduct the enquiry in Crime No.5 of 2020 on the file of the respondent and file a final report before the concerned Court, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by one Vivekanandan, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.5 of 2020 as against the petitioner and other accused. He would further submit that investigation is almost completed and that the petitioner's cell phone and CPU were sent to the Forensic Lab and report is awaited. Hence, he seeks four months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.5 of 2020 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
