Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the compensation to the petitioner to her Agricultural Lands in S.Nos.291, 292, 324, Mangarai Village, and S.Nos.187/1, 187/2 and 187/6A, Kuttathupatti Village, for drawing over High Voltage Electric Line connected with Tower in 64/9, and enhance the compensation for Tower No.64/9, located in S.No.187/2, Kuttathupatti Village, Dindigul West Taluk as prescribed under G.O.Ms.No.281. Heard both sides.
2.It is not in dispute that over petitioner's patta lands, high voltage electricity lines have been drawn. The fourth respondent is directed to quantify the compensation payable to the petitioner and pay the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this 2/4
order. The petitioner can receive the same. If she is still aggrieved, she can seek enhancement before the District Court concerned under Section 16 of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1885. 3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
