COMMON ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A6, A10, A2, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.03.2024 for the offences under Sections 4(1)(aa) 4(1-A) of TN Prohibition Act and Sections 468, 471, 420 of IPC and Sections 5, 6, 8 of the TN Rectified Spirit Rules, 2000 in Crime No.212 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the present case in Crime No.212 of 2024 is the ground case based on which, a detention order has already been passed against the petitioners under Act 14 of 1982.
3.In view of the above, the petitioners can approach this Court subject to the final result of the Habeas Corpus Petition filed by them challenging the detention order.
