ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition was filed by the wife of the detenu on the ground that her husband was illegally detained by the respondent police. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the detenu was arrested in a case in Crime No.145 of 2022 for an offence under Section 379 IPC and the detenu was remanded to judicial custody by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai, on 25.11.2022.

3.Since the detenu has been remanded by virtue of a judicial order, this Habeas Corpus Petition is not maintainable. It is left open to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
