O RDER Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. This petition has been filed seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to pay the necessary amount towards the petitioner's company for the work done under the respondent's Environmental Assessment and Improvement Study around the SIPCOT Industrial Area in Thoothukudi, based upon the representation of the petitioner dated 15.10.2024.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner and the respondent entered into contract agreement on 09.11.2020 and the work order was allotted by the respondent to the petitioner company under the respondent's Environmental Assessment and Improvement Study around the SIPCOT Industrial Area in Thoothukudi vide proceedings No.A12/4273/2020 dated 12.11.2020. It is the 2/4

grievance of the petitioner that after completion of the work, no payment was made by the respondent. In this regard, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent, however, no step has been taken so far. Hence, this petition.

5. At the outset, the petitioner wants to consider his representation dated 15.10.2024. Considering the nature of the request made by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.10.2024 and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
