PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.42 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.10.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420, 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC, in Crime No.42 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner received a sum of Rs.3,25,000/- by giving false promise that he will secure a job in Hon'ble High Court of Madras. Thereafter, he failed to secure the job and repay the amount. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 20.10.2022. Hence, he may be released on bail.

CRL OP(MD). No.21131 of 2022 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there are two victims and the petitioner has cheated the amount of Rs.6,50,000/- and he is having 6 previous cases similar in nature. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the gravity of the offence and also considering the bad antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
