Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner pertaining the property situated in S.No.308/13, Ward-T, Tamilar Street, Alathur Village, Kalkandarkottai, Trichy District to the extent of 930 sq. ft. based on the petitioner's representation dated 20.09.2024.

ORDER

Aggrieved by the fact that his request for issue of patta in respect of the property comprised in S.No.308/13, Ward-T, Tamilar Street, Alathur Village, Kalkandarkottai, Trichy District to an extent of 930 sq. ft. has not been taken up for consideration, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The petitioner seeks the issue of patta on the basis of a registered sale deed dated 21.01.1956 and a release deed dated 09.03.1995. There has been no objection to the grant of the said patta. Therefore, a mandamus is issued to the third respondent to issue patta to the petitioner within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
