PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 3 to 5 to issue patta in respect of T.S.No.289 to the extent of 4.5 cents at Block 18, Ward-1, Rajapalayam Municipality, Virudhunagar District by considering the petitioner's application, dated 06.11.2017 and 24.12.2021 within the stipulated period as framed fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents 3 to 5 to issue a patta in favour of the writ petitioner of T.S.No.289 to an extent of 4.5 cents at Rajapalayam Municipality in Virudhunagar District. 2.A perusal of the typed set of papers reveals that the petitioner has given a request for grant of patta for the above said property on 06.11.2017 to the fifth respondent enclosing four documents. It is the case of the petitioner that even though the enquiry has been completed, so far, orders have not been passed. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents had submitted that town survey has already been completed and orders would be passed as expeditiously as possible. 4.Considering the above said facts, the fifth respondent herein is directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on the basis of request made by the petitioner dated 06.11.2017 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.with the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
