O R D E R
This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay compensation to the tune of Rs.20,00,000/- lakshs for the death of her husband namely Mathirajan who died due to electrocution on 08.08.2021 in his agricultural land situated at Pallathivuduthy Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukottai District and by considering petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2023.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband died due to electrocution on 08.08.2021. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 18.07.2023 to the respondents, seeking to pay compensation for the death of her husband. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in view of the proceedings of the Chief Engineer/Personnel, dated 21.12.2024, the petitioner is entitled for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- as compensation. He has also produced the said copy of the proceedings dated 21.12.2024. Hence, he prays for appropriate orders.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 4 would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2023 would be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, this Court directs the 4th respondent to pay the eligible compensation, in terms of the proceedings issued by the the Chief Engineer/Peronnel, dated 21.12.2024, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
