Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct respondents 1 to 3 to re-correct the FMB in Sub-Division Nos.70/9M, 70/9N and 70/9O of Survey No.70, Nagamalai Pudukottai, Hamlet of Vilacheri Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2023.

ORDER

The limited request made by the petitioner in his representation dated 20.07.2023 to the official respondents was to re-correct the FMB in Sub-Division Nos.70/9M, 70/9N and 70/9O of Survey No.70, Nagamalai Pudukottai, Hamlet of Vilacheri Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District.

2. The error in question is the fact that the common pathway has not been reflected in the FMB. Since the representation has not been

disposed of, this petition for issuance of a mandamus has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

4. Taking note of the fact that the request of the petitioner to correct the FMB of Vilacheri Village reflecting the common pathway in the above referred subdivisions in the survey number dated 20.07.2023 has not been disposed of to date, a mandamus is issued to respondents 1 to 3 to dispose of the petitioner's representation and pass orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 30.10.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes abr
