This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide adequate police protection for conducting Urus Festival for the Hazarath Fazil Sha Qulia Taikka Waqf, Kottar, Nagercoil, which is scheduled to be held on 14.10.2023 and 15.10.2023 or any other subsequent dates, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.10.2023.
2. Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted 2/5
that Urus festival for the Hazarath Fazil Sha Qulia Taikka Waqf, Kottar, Nagercoil, which is scheduled to be held on 14.10.2023 and 15.10.2023 or any other subsequent dates. They sought permission of the Police for conducting above said festival, by giving a representation dated 05.10.2023. But, the respondents have not considered the said representation. Since no order was passed, the writ petitioner has come before this Court for the above said relief.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be favourably considered by the respondents, since there is no other issue. Since the respondents are ready to consider their representation, the petitioner can very well approach the respondents. 5.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this writ petition stands disposed of.
