This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 01.10.2024 with a request to extend the license period to run the canteen in the premises of Poombugar Shipping Corporation.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 01.10.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
