O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by the daughter of the deceased employee of the respondent corporation, seeking a mandamus to release the funds due to her father along with interest, based upon her representation dated 12.07.2024.

2. A perusal of the affidavit reveals that the petitioner's father was working as a Manager in the respondent Corporation and he retired on 30.06.1988. However, at the time of his retirement, his benefits viz. Surrender leave and earned leave have not been disbursed to him. Several representations have been sent to the authorities, however, there was no response. The said employee had passed away on 14.12.1997, and his wife had also passed away on 01.07.2001. The petitioner who is the daughter of the deceased employee, on 12.07.2024, sent a representation seeking the said benefits. Since, there is no response by the authorities, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.07.2024, and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this writ petition disposed of. No costs.
