ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption 'Extension of time for Lower Court' and upon reading the earlier order dated 17.10.2023 and perusing the requisition submitted by the Additional District Judge, 1/3
Ramanathapuram, in D.No.579/2024 dated 28.10.2024, seeking further six months time to dispose of the case in A.S/Nos.49 and 50 of 2021, this Court made the following Order:
"This Court, in the above Writ Petition, by an order, dated 17.10.2023, directed the learned Principal District Judge, Ramanathapuram, to dispose of the appeals in A.S.Nos.49 and 50 of 2021 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the order.
2. Now, the learned Additional District Judge, Ramanathapuram, has submitted a letter, dated 28.10.2024, requesting for further time of six months to dispose of the appeals.
3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the letter of the learned Additional District Judge, Ramanathapuram, the time is extended by six months from today for disposing of the appeals in A.S.Nos.49 and 50 of 2021, as sought for."
