ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the following relief : "directing the respondents herein to pay compensation of Rs.25,00,000/- as per the representation dated 25.11.2019."

2. The petitioner submitted a representation to the 2nd and 3rd respondents on 25.11.2019, requesting the grant of Rs. 25 lakhs as compensation for the injuries he sustained due to the blast of firecrackers

during the Soora Samharam Festival. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either side.

4. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.11.2019 and pass orders in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petitions stands disposed of. No costs.
