ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. V. Regunathan, Advocate for the Petitioners and of Mr. M. Sakthi Kumar, Government Advocate for the 1st and 2nd respondents, this Court made the following order:

"This petition has been filed to amend the surrendering Court as 'Special Court for Trial Cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Dindigul', instead of 'Principal District Judge, Dindigul' in the petition as well as in the order copy dated 03.10.2023 in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.17603 of 2023.

2.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, this Court is inclined to allow this petition.

3.Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition stands allowed as prayed for. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendments in this regard and issue fresh order copy to the parties. In view of the above, the time for surrender is also extended for a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
