Prayer:Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District to expedite and complete the trial in C.C. No. 64 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District to expedite and complete the trial in C.C. No. 64 of 2016, within stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that originally, the case is of the year 2014, thereafter it was transferred to the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District and renumbered as C.C. No. 64 of 2016. She would further submit that the case is pending for the past three years.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the direction is issued to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruppathur, Sivagangai District to complete the trial as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of Six Months, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

4. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed off.
