For R7 : No Appearance COMMON ORDER The petitioner, who is working as Headmistress in the respondent School, has been dismissed from service by the order impugned in WP.(MD)No.35568 of 2025, dated 26.11.2025. The petitioner and the fifth respondent/School Management are sister and brother. Considering the relationship between them, this Court by its order dated 12.12.2025 referred the matter to the Mediation and also appointed Mr.Kannan, learned counsel as a Mediator. On the efforts taken by the Mediator and on the Cooperation of the learned counsel on either side, it is reported that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties.

2.The fifth respondent/School Management has agreed to recall the order of dismissal and accommodate the petitioner as PG.Assistant. The petitioner has also agreed to continue her work as PG.Assistant and to give up her rights for the post of Headmistress. The fifth respondent would serve as Headmaster of the School. The petitioner was not paid with arrears of salary for a period of five years. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents points out that in view of the dispute, the petitioner has not served for certain period and the Government would not pay the salary for the period she has not rendered any service to the School. The management has agreed to compensate the petitioner by paying the required salary.
4.Considering the agreement arrived between the parties and placing appreciation to the Mediator as well as the learned counsel on either side, these writ petitions are closed with a direction to the respondent Management to ensure that the arrears of salary due to the petitioner are paid, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Government shall calculate the 7/9
period of her service and shall remit the amount, for which she has rendered service to the school. The agreement arrived between the parties shall form part and parcel of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
