This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 08.07.2024 and 12.09.2024.

2. The petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 08.07.2024 for issuance of joint patta, after the demise of petitioner's husband on 31.03.2017. The second respondent vide proceedings, dated 29.07.2024, conducted enquiry and the petitioner appeared before the second respondent on 29.08.2024 and submitted relevant records relating to the subject property. Thereafter, no steps were taken by the second respondent. Therefore, the petitioner gave several representations including the representations, dated 08.07.2024 and 12.09.2024. As no action was taken by the second respondent, the petitioner filed the writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents, on instructions, submits that reasonable time may be given to the respondents to pass appropriate orders.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, a direction is issued to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations, dated 08.07.2024 and 12.09.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
