PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to conclude the investigation by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2024 within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court. ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to conclude the investigation by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2024.

2. On earlier occasion, this Court directed the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to get instruction from the second respondent regarding the allegation made by the petitioner. As per the direction of this Court, Status Report has also been filed by the respondents.

3. Considering the paragraphs 10 and 12 of the Status Report filed by the respondents, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to conduct a preliminary enquiry on the allegation made by the petitioner.

4. In view of the same, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct a preliminary enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2024, as per the Vigilance Manual and continue further if necessity would arise.
