ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.542 of 2021 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same so far as this petitioner concerned.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that after completing the investigation, charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam and the case was taken on file in C.C.No.204 of 2022 and that the case stands posted on 28.12.2022.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge 2/4

sheet, if so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
