ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the District Collector had already issued proceedings bearing Na.Ka.1951/2020/Pa1 (Development) dated 03.10.2022 in favour of the writ petitioner stepping up his pay on par with that of his junior. The petitioner has subsequently sent a representation dated 14.11.2022 to the second respondent. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2022 and take action on merits and in accordance with law within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that since the writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage and the learned Special Government Pleader is not having the benefit of instructions, the merits of the matter have not been gone into.
