ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to produce the person or body of the detenue namely Nishanthi, D/o Murugesan, aged about 23 years, who has been missing from 15.06.2016.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is not in a position to contact the petitioner. The official from the second respondent present and produced the CD file. Perusal of the CD file shows that the daughter of the petitioner namely Nishanthi, was studying B.A. IInd Year in Lekshmipuram Arts College, Kanniyakumari District. It is also seen that she married one Jegan and thereafter their whereabout is not known. Phone numbers of the above said persons have not been received.
3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the investigation be completed by the second respondent within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by taking effective steps.
