ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondent herein to investigate the case in Crime No.496 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police and file a final report before the concerned Judicial Magistrate within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen from the records that the learned Magistrate in Crl.M.P.No.2548 of 2022 dated 04.07.2022 has directed the police to conduct reinvestigation and register an FIR if cognizable offence is made out and complete the investigation and thereafter file final report within a period of one month.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that investigation is in progress. Hence, he 2/4

seeks two months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.496 of 2021 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
