PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner trust to perform Annadhanam to the devotees on the day of (i.e.08.11.2024) Celestial marriage of Lord Subramanya and Devasena during the Kantha Sasthi festival at Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Temple, Bodinayakkanur in the light of the representation of the petitioner trust dated 08.10.2024 and pass such further or other orders as this Court.

ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Trust seeking a mandamus as against the respondents to permit them to perform Annadhanam on the day of Thirukalyanam following the day of Kantha Shasti. 2.The petitioner has sent a representation on 08.10.2024 to the second respondent seeking permission. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the request made by the writ petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 05.11.2024. 4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
