This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the third and fourth respondents to survey and demarcate the land, measuring 30 cents in S.No.36/1B2 out of total extent of 1 Acre 82 Cents in S.No.36/1 in Pappanodai Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District as per the petitioner's sale deed dated 04.03.1998, patta and survey sketch, disposing his application dated 21.10.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that a representation has been made on 21.10.2019 for survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the subject property.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that after considering the claims of all parties, proper steps would be taken to survey and demarcate the land in 2/5
accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 21.10.2019 for survey and demarcation on merits and in accordance with law. Notice shall be issued to the petitioner and the owners of relevant adjacent lands and appropriate orders shall be passed in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act 1923, within a period of eight weeks from today. In the event of any rival claims, the same can be agitated before the competent civil court. No costs.
