O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner.

2. The writ petitioner claims to be a member of Madurai District Cricket Association. He alleges that the affairs of the said association are not being conducted properly. The District association is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. The petitioner wants the parent body to take action against the District Association and that the petitioner has given a complaint in this regard. Since respondents 1 and 2 remained indifferent to the petitioner's complaint, the present writ petition came to be filed.

3. I am of the view that the writ petition itself is not maintainable. The issue pertains to the manner in which the 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.25196 OF 2023 Madurai District Cricket Association is being conducted. There is no public law element. Tamil Nadu Cricket Association cannot be called as state instrumentality amenable to writ jurisdiction. It is for the petitioner to work out his remedy elsewhere. Invoking writ jurisdiction is not warranted. Granting such liberty to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional civil Court or any appropriate authority or forum, this writ petition stands dismissed.
