The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents-1 & 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of his representation, dated 25.11.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (crl side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on a representation, dated 25.11.2019 given by the petitioner, enquiry in ref. No. G2/4696/58531/2019 has been initiated by the Inspector of Police, Allinagaram Police Station, Theni District. She would further submit that, if during enquiry it is found that protection has to be provided to the petitioner adequate protection will be given.
