2.This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay the interest for the belated payment of DCRG in terms of Section 45A of the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978 in pursuant to the proposal sent by the third respondent vide his proceedings dated 21.10.2024 forwarded to the second respondent. 3.Considering the fact that the third respondent has forwarded the proposal to the second respondent as early as on 21.10.2024 and the same has been kept pending without any further progress, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the 2/4

proposal made by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.2375/A1/2024, dated 21.10.2024, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
