ORDER

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. Without going into the merits of the case and taking into consideration of the limited prayer sought for, this Court is of the view that the appeal said to have been filed by the petitioner on 16.07.2018 has been kept pending for more than one year and therefore, this Court would be justified in stipulating a time limit for disposal of the appeal.

3.In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 16.07.2018 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its view with regard to the grounds raised by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.26102 of 2019 petitioner in this writ petition and that the first respondent is at liberty to dispose of the said appeal on its own merits.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
