ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the 1st respondent to get the case in Crime No. 372/2018 on the file of the 2nd respondent police to be withdrawn and transferred to any other agency more particularly the 3rd respondent to proceed with the investigation forthwith.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that an FIR has also been registered in Crime No.372 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 174 Cr.P.C., at the instance of the mother of the victim, who had died in his workplace. However, there is no progress in the investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submitted that after completion of investigation, the final report has been filed as 'further action dropped' before the trial Court and the trial Court has also accepted the said closure report.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, by filing a protest petition in accordance with law.
