Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner submitted an application for transfer of patta in her name in respect of the petition mentioned land. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced a copy of the memorandum dated 16.02.2023 whereby the petitioner's request was rejected. I went through the contents of the said rejection order. I am satisfied that the reason for rejection is obviously erroneous. However, no purpose will be served by remanding the matter to the file of the third respondent. In stead the 2/4

petitioner is given liberty to file a proper petition before the second respondent. The second respondent will issue notice to all the other stakeholders and interested persons and pass an appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
