O R D E R

Heard Mr. S.Alagarsamy, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. N.Dilipkumar, Learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent to release the Vehicle of the Petitioner bearing Registration No. TN 84 F 2176 seized from the Petitioner in O.R.2 of 2022-2023, dated 04.10.2022 Customs Preventive Unit, Mandapam.

It has been brought to notice that after filing of the Writ Petition, the Petitioner made an application for provisional release and the same has been considered and an order has been passed on the same by the Respondent in DIN No.20230181OI0000338840, dated 19.01.2023. Copy of the said proceedings has been placed on record and the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner also acknowledged its receipt.

In view of the subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition, but it would not preclude the Petitioner, if he 2/4

has any further grievance, from working out his rights before proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
