PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.6 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.11.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 342, 354(B), 366, 376D, 506(2) of IPC r/w 67(A) of I.T Act and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, in Crime No.6 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant loved each other while they were working in Amazon Company at Chennai. Taking advantage of their love affairs, the petitioner kidnapped her in a Car and made a gang rape along with other persons and videographed the same and also sent the it to his friends and relatives. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. CRL OP(MD). No.21158 of 2022 the defacto complainant compelled her to resign her job and prevented her to speak with the petitioner. Subsequently, the present case came to be registered against the petitioner. Further, he is in judicial custody from judicial custody on 01.11.2022. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that serious allegation has been made against the petitioner. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
