Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to to set aside the order dt 04.12.2019 passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai passed in the modification petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.MP.No.3433 of 2019 and consequently direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukottai to relax the conditions of bail granted to the petitioner insofar as payment of Rs.45,000/-as cash security before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi, Pudukottai District is concerned.

The petitioner, who had been arrayed as accused in Crime No.226 of 2019 was granted bail on condition to deposit a sum of Rs.45,000/- by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukottai on 27.11.2019. Seeking to modify the same, the present petition had been filed.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was arrested on 23.11.2019 and bail was granted on 27.11.2019. He would also submit that the petitioner due to his poor financial status is unable to deposit the said amount. Hence he prays to modify the said condition.

3. Heard Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4.In the result, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.MP.No.3433 of 2019 vide dated 04.12.2019 directing the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.No.18403 of 2019 petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.45,000/- shall stand modified as follows:

"the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.15,000/- instead of depositing a sum of Rs.45,000/-.

All other conditions imposed in the order dated 27.11.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.3364 of 2019 shall remain intact.
