ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first and second respondents to grant adequate police protection to the petitioner and his 5th son Sundaram and his family members, based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.12.2019.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

W.P.(MD)No.26123 of 2019 Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 has submitted that in respect of the complaint dated 03.12.2019, enquiry was conducted on 08.12.2019. During the enquiry, it was found that the petitioner is the father and he has given the complaint against the third respondent, who is the second son. He would submit that in respect of settling a few properties in favour of the fifth son namely Sundaram, there is a dispute between his sons and that the petitioner has appeared before the respondent police and informed that they will settle the dispute before the appropriate civil Court. Further, it was found that since the fifth son is being threatened by the third respondent/2nd son of the petitioner, the petitioner has given a complaint against him. Thereafter, fearing that the future of the third respondent will be affected, the petitioner has submitted that no further action is necessary and he has withdraw the complaint given by him.

4.Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
