PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.82/2022 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offence under Sections 147, 294(b), 384, 379, 323, 506(i) of IPC r/w. 1/3

Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act in Crime No. 82 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioners are arrayed as accused in C.C.No.225 of 2023, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kumbakonam, for the offences punishable under Sections Sections 147, 294(b), 384, 379, 323, 506(i) of IPC r/w. Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act.

3. The petitioners were absent during the trial in C.C.No.225 of 2023, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kumbakonam. Therefore non bailable warrant came to be issued on 26.03.2024.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners undertakes that the petitioners shall appear before the Court below regularly on all future hearing dates without fail.

5. Considering the undertaking given by the petitioners, the petitioners are directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kumbakonam, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a petition to recall the NBW issued against them. The concerned Magistrate is directed to consider the same on merits and pass orders on the same day. 2/3
