ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 312, 406 and 417 IPC in Crime No.183 of 2023 on 1/3

the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant had love affair and on the false promise of marriage, the petitioner had physical relationship with the defacto complainant and thereafter, he refused to marry her. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner herein, on the pretext of marriage, had physical relationship with the defacto complainant and thereafter, he refused to marry her. She would further submit that the investigation of this case is not yet completed. Hence, she strongly objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant 2/3

anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
