PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to to direct the learned I-Additional Sessions Court,Tirunelveli to dispose the Criminal Appeal in C.A.67 of 2018 on the file of the learned I- Additional Sessions Court,Tirunelveli expeditiously within the time frame stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned I-Additional Sessions Court,Tirunelveli to dispose the Criminal Appeal in C.A.67 of 2018 .

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that respondent/ husband has filed an appeal against the order passed in Domestic Violence case pertaining to MC No. 8 of 2014 on 07.04.2018. He would also submit that the appeal is of the year 2018 and there is no progress in the trial.

3. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned I-Additional Sessions Court,Tirunelveli to dispose the case pending in Criminal Appeal in C.A.67 of 2018 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
