PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the 3rd Respondent pertaining to the impugned order in President/AKaKu/APMK/Mel/Nir/A.No.001/2024, dated 14.10.2024 passed by 1/4

the 3rd respondent and consequentially to direct the 3rd Respondent to reinstate the petitioner as priest of the temple namely Arulmigu Pattalamman Muthaiah Swamy Thirukoil and pass such further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case. ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a Priest working in the third respondent temple, challenging his order of removal dated 14.10.2024. 2.It could be seen from the affidavit that the third respondent temple is a scheme temple and the petitioner who is working as temporary Priest has been removed from the said post by the Managing trustee of the said temple. 3.The petitioner is having an effective alternative remedy to approach the second respondent herein by way of an appeal. 2/4

4.In view of the above said facts, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the writ petitioner to approach the second respondent. In case, if the appeal is filed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the same shall be disposed of within a period of eight weeks thereafter. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
