For petitioner : Ms.P.Yasmin Begum For Respondents : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) O RDER This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action as against the respondents 4 to 11 and their men and to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering the petitioner's complaint/representation dated 29.09.2023.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Kala, Sakthivel and Ragini appeared before the respondent. During the course of enquiry both parties have given statement that no trouble will be made to the petitioner and her husband promised to pay a sum of Rs.12,000/- per month towards maintenance of children and family. Accepting that this petitioner does not want to pursue the matter further. On that ground, it was closed.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that after the above said promise, he filed another application seeking enhancement of maintenance of Rs.40,000/-. It is stated to be pending. 4.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the view that the parties can workout their remedy in the concerned Court itself.

5.This criminal original petition stands dismissed as indicated above.
