PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971, praying to punish the Contemnors / Respondents 1 to 4 for their deliberate and wilful disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P.(MD) No.15140 of 2019, dated 13.10.2022.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Contempt Petition has been instituted to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court dated 13.10.2022, in W.P.(MD) No.15140 of 2019.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader made a submission that the order passed by this Court on 13.10.2022, in W.P.(MD) No.15140 of 2019 has been complied with and the encroachments were removed in the presence of the petitioner. In this regard, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted a copy of the letter dated 02.11.2023, issued by the Tahsildar, Palani. 2/4

3. That being so, no further action required and the Contempt Petition stands closed.
