ORDER

The present criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed challenging the order in Crl.M.P.No.4471 of 2013 dated 29.08.2013 passed by the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Thoothukudi District and to modify the condition imposed by No.3, Judicial Magistrate, Rameshwaram in Crl.M.P.No.3442 of 2022 dated 02.02.2023, namely the production of original RC Book. It is submitted that the petitioner was unable to produce the original RC Book as the vehicle in question was hypothecated with the 2nd respondent Finance Company.

2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner had met with an accident and fractured his leg, resulting in a delay of 4289 days in filing the criminal revision petition. This Court finds that there is no merit in the petitioner's request for condoning the delay. 2/4

3. At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner would request that concerned Judicial Magistrate may be directed to dispose of C.C.No.520 of 2014.

4. In view thereof, the concerned Judicial Magistrate shall endeavour to dispose of the above C.C.No.520 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible.

5. The criminal miscellaneous petition stands disposed of with the above observations.
