Respondents Prayer :- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Declaration, declaring that the land acquisition proceedings in respect of the lands in Plot No.7, South, R.S.No.217/1A2A3, area 2418 sq.ft., registered on 15.09.2000; Plot No.8 South R.S.No. 217/1A2AA4, area 2173 1⁄2 sq.ft., registered on 08.02.2001; and Plot No.7 N and 8N, R.S.No.217/1A2A3 and 1A2A4, area 2663.75 sq.ft. in Madakulam 1/4

Village, Hamlet of Pazhanganatham Village, Madurai South Taluk, is lapsed in view of Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 (Act 30/2013) and consequently, forbearing the respondents from dispossessing the petitioner from the said subject properties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition and he has circulated a letter to the Registry, dated 27.10.2022 and also made an endorsement in the bundle to that effect.

2.Recording the abovesaid submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
