Side) O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned FIR in Crime No.18 of 2022 dated 14.01.2022 on the file of the first respondent Police. 2.The contention of the petitioners is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.18 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 353 and 506(ii) of IPC, against the petitioners. Seeking quashment of the same on various grounds this petition has been filed. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that after completing the investigation, final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Mudhukulathur, on 15.06.2022 and the petitioners 1 and 3 are arrayed as accused and the same was not taken on file so far. 2/5

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is dismissed as unnecessary in respect of the petitioners 2 and 4 to 6.

5.In respect of the petitioners 1 and 3, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. The petitioners 1 and 3 are granted liberty to workout their remedy through appropriate proceedings, if so aggrieved by the contents of the final report.

6.With the above said liberty, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
